Max Tow Right and Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensors Inoperable Customers must experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination and the vehicle must SYMPTOM: exhibit/set one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs):
• C003A-62 - Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor - Signal Compare Failure.
• C0037-62 - Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor - Signal Compare Failure.
• C003A-2F - Right Rear Wheel Speed Sensor - Signal Erratic.
• C0037-2F - Left Rear Wheel Speed Sensor - Signal Erratic. Customers may comment on one or more of the following:
• The check engine light is illuminated.
• The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) light is illuminated.
• The Traction Control System (TCS) light is illuminated.
• The Forward Collision Warning (FCW) light is illuminated.
• The "4WD Unavailable" message is displayed in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC).
• Vehicle might not shift from Drive to Park or vice versa. NOTE: The vehicle safe hold systems are in place if the vehicle does not shift to Park.
• Vehicle will not shut off. This bulletin involves replacing both rear wheel speed sensors.
