Telematics Box Module (TBM) Firmware Over The Air (FOTA) Software Updating from 5.39 to 5.65 *Customers must experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination and the vehicle must exhibit/set the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC):
• B2206-00 - Current VIN Missing / Mismatch.** Customers may experience the following:
• **SOS Unavailable message pops up on radio during a remote start event due to TBM DTC B2206-00. This bulletin provides information regarding the latest Firmware Over The Air (FOTA) update and provides the service technician an overview of the steps a customer will need to take to complete the update. The TBM software will be updated from 5.39.1 to 5.65 software level.Telematics Box Module (TBM) Firmware Over The Air (FOTA) Software Updating from 5.39 to 5.65 *Customers must experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination and the vehicle must exhibit/set the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC):
