A subject vehicle may exhibit an illuminated check engine lamp with DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) P2148/P2151 (Malfunction of injector solenoid valve drive system coimmon 1/2 B+ circuit). The engine ECU may falsely detect an issue and record these DTC's in the engine ECU. enhanced ECU software is available. Certain 2016 Model Year Conventional trucks (238, 258, 268, or 338) equipped with a J08 engine that were assembled at the Williamstown, WV plant.
