This preliminary information provides the dealer with direction for addressing diagnostic trouble code P00C6 being set in history. The dealer is advised to clear the dtc and re-evaluate. If the dtc does not reset, they are instructed to release the vehicle, if the dtc does reset they are instructed to pursue published diagnostics for that dtc.
