Accelerator position sensor malfunction code B044414 Dear Dealer / Service Centre / Authorised workshop, as part of the continuous and stringent qualitative sampling plans of the components installed on our vehicles, the continuous search for new and better technical solutions and the attention to customers, we wish to inform you that, in the event of a malfunction of the accelerator position sensor (demand sensor) signalled by the following errors on the V.M.S. (Vehicle Management System), on the models in question:
• 756D > Consistency test voltage fluctuation beyond the threshold
• 7564 > Electrical fault in the hand grip demand sensor it is necessary to enter a warranty claim to proceed with the installation of the ferrite code 641814, of the relative protection code CM017724 and the relative labour, in order to restore the correct operation of the vehicle.
