This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have Service Engine Soon Malfunction Indicator Lamp on without a drivability concern. Technician may find a Diagnostic Trouble Code P06DC set. Technician will need to perform an oil pump test then contact General Motors Technical Assistance Center with the results and for further assistance.
