This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a Diagnostic Trouble Code P06DD set with no drivability concerns. If only Diagnostic Trouble Code P06DD is set with no other Diagnostic Trouble Codes gather data using Global Diagnostic System 2 and contact General Motors Technical Assistance Center for further assistance.
