This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have an intermittent "Service Charging System" message on the Driver Information Center or a Battery Malfunction Indicator Lamp during an auto stop event. If there is no fault found during diagnostics for P0621 contact General Motors Technical Assistance Center for further assistance.
