This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a lifter noise and or Service Engine Soon Malfunction Indicator Lamp on. Technician may find a Diagnostic Trouble Code P0300 set. Technician should check Tis2Web for any applicable Engine Control Module calibrations after any repair of the engine with a collapsed intake lifter on an Active Fuel Management cylinder.
