What does this code mean?
The controller finds an oil-pressure sensing/performance concern. A signal problem and genuinely low mechanical oil pressure must be distinguished; replacing the sensor on the code alone can miss the underlying fault. GM's cited example requires electrical/sensor checks and then a mechanical pressure test under specified hot-idle conditions.
Sources and interpretation [1]
A code identifies a detected condition, not a part that must automatically be replaced.
Before replacing a part
If an oil-pressure warning or abnormal engine noise is present, stop safely and follow the owner's manual. Have pressure verified using the correct test port and engine specification; a threshold or reading from another port or engine is not interchangeable.

Can I keep driving?
A code alone cannot establish whether driving is safe. A flashing malfunction light, severe shaking, overheating, oil-pressure warning or loss of braking or steering needs prompt attention. Stop in a safe place and seek assistance when control or engine safety is affected. Follow the vehicle handbook.
