控制器在監測條件下判斷觸媒效率不足。P0420 對應第 1 汽缸列，P0430 對應第 2 汽缸列。應檢查排氣漏氣、失火與混合氣相關碼，依車型評估感知器訊號及觸媒測試。故障碼本身不證明必須換觸媒或含氧感知器。
