Supply reservoir.

Glossary “wet wash” Definition:
Equipment used to contain brake dust when inspection or replacing brake components. It is required by OSHA to have some type of brake dust containment when working on brakes.

Glossary “wet liner” Definition:
Cylinder liner that is in contact with the coolant.

Glossary “wet metallic paint spray” Definition:
The aluminum flakes have sufficient time to settle in the wet paint, making the color appear darker and less silver.

Glossary “wet sandpaper” Definition:
Sandpaper that can be used with water for flushing away sanding debris that would otherwise clog the fine grit.

Glossary “wet sleeve” Definition:
Term used for wet liner.

Glossary “wet edge” Definition:
The area just painted that is still wet when starting to paint a new adjoining area.

Glossary “wet bulb temperature” Definition:
Ambient temperature measured with a wet bulb thermometer.

Glossary “wet compression test” Definition:
Test of the engines compression with one tablespoon of 30W oil added to the cylinder to determine if the low compression from the initial compression test is caused by leaking pistion rings, leaking valves, or from a hole in the head gasket or piston.

Glossary “wet compression testing” Definition:
Testing of the engines compression pressure with one tablespoons of 30W oil added through the spark plug hole to seal the rings and determine if the compression leak is from the rings or the valves. DO NOT perform this test on a diesel engine.

Glossary “wet disc clutch” Definition:
Clutch having a friction disc that operates in a bath of oil.

Glossary “wet bulb” Definition:
A device, such as a thermometer, having a wet sock over its sensing element.
