Glossary “bleeder screw” Definition:
A small, hollow screw or valve found at wheel cylinders, disc brake calipers, and adjacent to the outlet ports of some master cylinders. It is opened to release pressure and to bleed air and fluid from the hydraulic system.

Glossary “bleeder spray gun” Definition:
It allows air to pass through the gun at all times, even when the trigger is not pulled back. It does not have an air control valve. The trigger only controls fluid needle movement.

Glossary “bleeder jar” Definition:
A glass or transparent plastic container used to detect the escape of air while bleeding brakes.
