Glossary “re-torque” Definition:
Some gasket applications require the use of a re-torque procedure after a certain period. These gaskets need time in service to compress fully. When this occurs, the bolts lose tension due to the gasket flattening out more. Re-torque procedure requires performing the final torque sequence again.
