This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a check engine light on. Technician will find Diagnostic Trouble Codes P0700 set in the Engine Control Module and P0797 set in the Transmission Control Module. Technician should use published Service Information diagnostics for the Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
