नियंत्रक ऑयल प्रेशर मापन/प्रदर्शन में समस्या पाता है। गलत सिग्नल और वास्तव में कम यांत्रिक तेल दबाव अलग करना जरूरी है; केवल सेंसर बदलने से असली खराबी छूट सकती है। GM पहले विद्युत/सेंसर जाँच, फिर निर्दिष्ट गर्म आइडल पर यांत्रिक दबाव मापने को कहता है।
