This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have no heat in EV electric mode Technician will find a Diagnostic Trouble Code B101D in the Coolant Heater Control Module. Technician will need to check the coolant heater control module for proper operation. If the Diagnostic Trouble Code B101D is set replace the Coolant Heater Control Module.
