1). Clutch that consists of alternating friction and steel discs that are forced together hydraulically to lock one transmission part to another. 2). Clutch having a large drum-shaped housing that can be a separate casting or a part of the transmission housing.

MTBE

Glossary “MTBE” Definition:
Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether. An ether manufactured by reacting methanol and isobutylene. The resulting ether is higher in octane and lower in volatility. MTBE is a fuel oxygenate and is permitted in unleaded gasoline up to a level of 15%.
