1). Device having two or more blades attached to the shaft of a motor. 2). Device mounted in the heater/air-conditioner duct that causes air to pass over the heater core and evaporator. 3). Device having four or more blades, mounted on the water pump, that causes air to pass through the radiator and condenser. 4). Spray pattern of a paint spray gun. 5). The incorrect technique of applying paint by waving a spray gun back and forth with the wrist.

Failure Mode Effects Management (FMEM)

Glossary “Failure Mode Effects Management (FMEM)” Definition:
Strategy designed to reduce the adverse effects that may be caused by a sensor failure. Should a sensor fail, the PCM substitutes a good sensor signal in its place. This allows the engine to keep running so the vehicle can be driven in for service.
